    Wellness Wednesday: Veggie Panini

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Make a fresh and nutritious Veggie Panini with multigrain bread, carrots, cucumber nutritious avocado.

    Ingredients:

    • 2 slices of multigrain bread
    • 1 oz of mayonnaise
    • Half of avocado, sliced
    • 1 oz of cucumber
    • 2 oz of carrots
    • Half of tomato, sliced
    • 2 leaves of iceberg lettuce

    Directions:

    On a plate, slice open multi grain bread with both insides facing up.

    Add and spread 1 oz of mayonnaise. Spread 5 slices of avocado onto bread

    Next, add 1 oz of cucumber and 2 oz of carrots. Then slice & add 3 slices of a whole tomato.

    Finally, add 2 leaves of iceberg lettuce onto sandwich.

    Close sandwich & spray oil to grill on panini.

    At last, slice in half and serve.
