New Green Room at the Stars Theatre is now open

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Stars Theater is bringing some Hollywood glamour to Bakersfield with the new Green Room.

The Green Room at the Stars Theatre has been resigned and reimagined to reflect an Old Hollywood vibe.

Stars partnered with Asuncion Ridge Vineyards in Paso Robles to serve wine and the bar is putting a twist on some classic cocktails.

“What you can expect when you come to the Green Room are some really curated, hand-crafted cocktails based on traditional favorites like the Manhattan,” Executive Director of the Stars Theatre Alex Neal told 17 News. “We have our take on a margarita as well, as a wonderful espresso martini that’s been really popular with everyone.”

The Green Room is open Wednesday through Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. but on show nights the room is open until 10 p.m.

The musical “In the Heights” is playing at the Stars Theatre through Nov. 3.

“Hairspray” is the final performance of the year and it will feature 17’s Alex Fisher as Corny Collins. The performance is set for Dec. 6 through the 22.
