    KCSO searching for man last seen by family in 2022

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help to find a man last seen by family over two years ago.

    Officials with the sheriff’s office say Roberto Vargas, 41, was last seen by his family on Sept. 10, 2022.

    8-year-old dies of injuries after being struck by vehicle in central Bakersfield

    Vargas is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. Officials say he is bald and has brown eyes.

    He was last seen wearing a white tank top and unknown color shorts.

    If anyone has information regarding Vargas’s whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Kern County Sheriff’s Office at 661-861-3110 or the Secret Witness Line at 661-322-4040.
