Pet of the Week: Rocky

BAKERSFILD, Calif. (KGET) — Meet this week’s pet of the week, Rocky!

Rocky is a mellow pup who’s good on a leash and knows how to sit and shake paws, according to Brian McLaughlin with the Bakersfield SPCA. He was surrendered to the shelter by a family recently.

Rocky is available for adoption and The Bakersfield SPCA is hosting a low-cost microchip and vaccination clinic Saturday Oct. 26., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 3000 Gibson Street. This is a walk-in event, no appointments are necessary.

Microchips will cost you $20. Rabies DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations will also be available for dogs.

Cat rabies, FVRCP, and flea treatment will also be available for cats. You can get all 3 for $20 or $10 each.
