Tucson Unified School District is holding a virtual community meeting the evening of Wednesday, Sept. 18 to address the multiple social media threats that have been made against Tucson-area schools in recent weeks.

    WATCH MEETING RECORDING:

Days ago, TUSD Superintendent Dr. Gabriel Trujillo issued a statement to the community, saying whether or not the threats themselves are credible, the district will continue to work closely with law enforcement and engage a variety of strategies, including:

      • Monitoring and controlling access to campus
      • Providing clear instructions for emergency response
      • Utilizing trained school safety staff

Trujillo encourages families to discuss online safety, report any threats they may see and to remain calm. View the superintendent's full statement on social media:

Virtual is a way to minimize the ppl/ voters / tax payers in TUSD. It is time TUSD terminates Ravi & Rose. VOTE Pilar & Sadie to join Val and clean up 30 to 40 years of Adelita & her gang at TUSD.
