If we know one thing for sure, it's that you deserve a little treat for all your hard work today! And what better wait to feed your body and soul than with a slice of pie?

Pie making is an art that, when done well, can turn a sad, dreary day into the best day ever with just one single bite. Pie is a very versatile dessert that is crafted with a plethora of ingredients. Some people enjoy creme in their pies (Boston cream, chocolate cream, banana cream), while prefer theirs stuffed and topped with fruit like cherries or rhubarb. Of course, we cannot forget about arguably two of the most popular pies in the country, pumpkin and cherry!

Regardless of your preference, there is one pie shop in Texas that makes the best pie around.

According to a list compiled by LoveFood , the best pie in all of Texas is served at Three Brothers Bakery in Houston. This shop continues to receive rave reviews for its Pumpecapple Piecake.

Here's what LoveFood had to say about the delicious pie served at the best pie shop in the entire state:

"What pie weighs 24lbs (10.8kg), feeds 80 people, and is the ultimate holiday treat? Meet the Pumpecapple Piecake – a three-layer invention that combines a pumpkin pie baked in a pumpkin spice cake, a pecan pie baked in a chocolate cake, and an apple pie baked into a spice cake. As so many great things do, it started as a joke at the Three Brothers Bakery in Houston but has since become the bakery's most popular item.

Three Brother's is a long standing favorite in Houston. This bakery has been part of family histories of birthdays, weddings and various other childhood memories. I am sure everyone has a bakery with strong ties to their communities. Great memories!!
