Spooky season is finally here, and what better way to kick off a season dedicated to screams and Halloween scenes than by diving into the most haunted place in all of Texas?

Wether it be an old cemetery, abandoned asylum, haunted house, or horror movie scene, something about the most haunted place in Texas is so disturbing that it landed on a list of the absolute creepiest places to visit across America.

If you've been looking for a haunted site to visit with your friends and family this spooky season, look no further than this bone-chilling location.

According to a list compiled by Thrillist , the most haunted place in Texas is Yorktown Memorial Hospital . This spooky location is the site of an old hospital where nearly 2,000 patients passed away.

Here's what Thrillist had to say about the most haunted site in all of Texas:

"Old beds, gurneys, mirrors, chairs, and other medical equipment are still inside this decrepit abandoned hospital, where more than 2,000 patients died before it shuttered in 1988. Today, visitors have described inexplicable apparitions, whispers, shadowy figures in the hallways, wheelchairs rolling unpushed, and a particularly terrifying talking doll in the nursery that asks, “Do you love me?” The owner allows for regular tours and paranormal investigations, so go ahead, see for yourself."
