HONOLULU (KHON2) — Founder, Michelle Smith, and Marketing Manager, Elisha Danzik, joined Wake Up 2Day with details on how they got started with Jax Wood Fired Pizza along with the new specials they’re offering.

Named after Michelle’s son, Jaxon, who was diagnosed with autism at the age of two, Jax Wood Fired Pizza creates quality pizzas and dishes for the entire ohana.

You can expect their pizzas to be made with the finest high protein sourdough, local fresh ingredients and baked on Kiawe wood.

In 2018, they took the recipe from Michelle’s backyard to share with the whole Haleiwa community. From there, they have grown and expanded by partnering with Elisha Danzik, a marketing specialist, and her family, to expand the reach of the business.

Jax also recently launched their Pizza Happy Hour from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Every day, you can get $10 cheese pizzas and $12 pepperoni pizzas. They also offer a 20% off Military Monday discount and a family Tuesday special in partnership with the Autism Society of Hawaii.

Visit Jax on Tuesday nights and buy any two pizzas and receive a free kid’s pizza or breadstick, along with a free drink for keiki 12 and under.

Jax strives to create a dining room safe to enjoy for all special needs children. A portion of the proceeds will go to support the efforts of the Autism Society on Tuesdays.
