UH launches ‘Big Mac Mondays’ with McDonald’s, helping team with touchdown donations

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The University of Hawai’i Rainbow Warrior Dancers and Head Coach Timmy Chang kicked off “Big Mac Mondays” at the Keeaumoku McDonald’s on Friday.

Throughout the warrior football season, customers can receive a free Big Mac with the purchase of a Big Mac combo every Monday.

On top of the free burger, for each touchdown scored by the Warriors, McDonald’s of Hawai’i will donate $500 to the team.

“Big Mac Mondays” run from August 26 through December 2.
