HONOLULU (KHON2) — Hawaiian Airlines is offering a travel waiver for passengers affected by Tropical Storm Hone.

Travelers flying to or from Hilo (ITO) or Kona (KOA) between August 24 and August 25, can now reschedule their flights without incurring additional fees.

The airline is allowing passengers to rebook their flights for no extra charge, provided they maintain the same travel route and cabin class.

All new travel arrangements must be completed by August 29. Travelers should note that changes outside this period may not qualify for the waiver.

For those who prefer to cancel, the value of the ticket can be retained as credit for future use, with the ticket valid for one-year from the original purchase date.

Change fees will be waived, but fare differences may apply when booking a new flight.

Customers with reservations made through Hawaiian Airlines’ website or customer service can call 1-800-367-5320 or use live chat for assistance.
