    Ken Niumatalolo wins SJSU debut

    Radford and University of Hawaii alumnus Ken Niumatalolo was victorious in his San Jose State head coaching debut on Thursday, leading the Spartans to a 42-24 win over Sacramento State.

    With fellow Hawaii alumnus Craig Stuzmann calling the plays on offense, the Spartans gained 387 yards.

    Meanwhile, Saint Louis alumnus Quincy Likio had five tackles for the Spartans while Kasier alumnus and former Hawaii kicker Kyler Halvorsen made all six of his extra point attempts but missed a field goal.
