HONOLULU (KHON2) — Oahu celebrated the grand opening of its newest Bill7 Affordable Housing building on Kinau Street, featuring 15 move-in ready studio apartments.

Each apartment will come with brand-new appliances, air conditioning and on-site laundry, all in a new, secured building.

Residents will also be located in “the vibrant heart of Honolulu, right across from Safeway and Times Supermarkets.”

We’re trying to keep people in Hawaii. We’re trying to give our local people an option to stay here, so we’re trying to create as many affordable housing units as we can so we can get our people homes and give them an option to stay in Hawaii.

    Kimi Wilkinson, Savio Asset Management

Rent will be priced at $1,740 per month and includes all utilities.

Those who would like to check out the studio apartments can attend the following open house events:

    • Wednesday, Sept. 11: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    • Saturday, Sept. 14: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Sunday, Sept. 15: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Potential tenants who cannot make it to the open house can also schedule a private showing with Kimi Wilkinson by calling either (808) 951-0067 or (808) 946-3221.
