HONOLULU (KHON2) — Eric Hanano, Director of Culinary Experience, and Richard Acdal, Executive Sous Chef of the Hilton Waikiki Beach, joined Wake Up 2Day to share the details on Mac 24/7’s new buffet.

Hilton Waikīkī Beach, a best-in-brand Hilton property, is pleased to announce its new dinner buffet featuring delectable island-inspired selections from the land and sea. The buffet offerings include an array of irresistible hot and cold entrées, including a slow-roasted prime rib carving station, warmed crab legs with drawn butter, mix seafood chowder and surimi crab-crusted salmon, among many other noteworthy options.

The all-you-can-eat weekend buffet, which launched on Friday, September 6, is priced at $79 for adults and $39 for children under 12. The enticing spread will be available at the award-winning M.A.C. 24/7 restaurant on the lobby level of Hilton Waikīkī Beach on Kūhiō Avenue. Guests can indulge in this exquisite new buffet between 5 and 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

“We’re pleased to bring a quality buffet back to Waikīkī and invite locals and visitors to savor our creative dishes, including many kamaʻāina favorites,” said Henry Perez, General Manager at Hilton Waikīkī Beach. “Our buffet is chock-full of fresh ingredients from Hawaiʻi farms and local waters. We look forward to patrons getting their fill of this magnificent harvest.”

To start, guests can enjoy an island mixed green salad with oriental shoyu dressing and balsamic vinaigrette, island-cut fruits and berries, and dinner rolls. From the sea, offerings include cocktail shrimp, a delightful assortment of fresh poke and ahi sashimi, succulent warmed crab legs with drawn butter and lemons, surimi crab-crusted salmon with kabayaki and Boursin yuzu beurre blanc, and mix seafood chowder.

The land surrenders its bounty with slow-roasted prime rib with creamy horseradish and au jus lié, teriyaki beef, oven-roasted pork loin with apple calvados, and sesame chicken with shoyu mirin sauce. An array of delectable desserts completes the dining experience with tropical cake bites, pineapple crème brûlée and warmed bread pudding with vanilla crème anglaise.

For more information, guests are advised to make reservations online at mac247waikiki.com or by calling 808-921-5564. Walk-ins are welcomed on a first-come, first-served basis though.
