HONOLULU (KHON2) — A body that was found in a storm drain on Friday has been identified and HPD needs help locating witnesses.

CrimeStoppers said Christina Baca, 50, was found unresponsive in the drain located near UHʻs faculty housing at 2640 Dole Street.

She was last seen wearing a yellow one piece bathing suit and aloha print dress and is described as being five feet, one inch tall, 120 pounds in weight, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Bacaʻs body was in a state of decomposition but an autopsy revealed several gunshot wounds.

HPD believe the homicide occurred on Monday, Sept. 9 at around 2 a.m.
