Food2Go: Celine’s Best

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Owner, Celine Chong, joined Wake Up 2Day with all the details.

Celine shared how she started her love of baking, “We had a bake sale at school when I was in 4th grade. I didn’t participate then, but I helped my classmate make a mango cake. I was so happy with the way it turned out and saw the people’s faces light up when they tried it. I wanted that high, I wanted that feeling–of making people happy with my food.”

Celine’s Best is also unique since she offers an array of Japanese, Hawaiian, and Filipino fusion cuisine that includes fries, nachos, and loaded waffle dogs. Her popular menu items include okonomiyaki, a play on the Japanese pancake which has kewpie mayo, Okonomiyaki sauce, furikake, and bonito flakes. Loaded birria fries and nachos is another popular menu item.
