    HONOLULU (KHON2) — Nurses at Kapiolani Medical Center are voting on a tentative contract agreement this Friday after over a year of challenging negotiations, which included two strikes, ten arrests, and a lockout.

    The Hawaii Nurses’ Association reports that a key issue—staffing ratios—has been addressed in the new agreement.

    If ratified, the nurses will be able to return to work on Sunday.
