    HPD looking for driver involved in Kalihi hit-and-run

    HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Honolulu police are looking for a driver who did not stop to render aid after hitting a pedestrian on North Kuakini Street around 3:30 a.m. Thursday.

    HPD said reports indicate that an older model white pickup truck was traveling eastbound on North Kuakini Street when it hit a male pedestrian who was lying in the roadway.

    The man died at the scene.

    The driver continued driving eastbound without stopping to help the pedestrian.
