    Honolulu Police seek public’s help in purse snatching case

    HONOLULU (KHON2) — Honolulu police are asking for assistance in locating a suspect involved in a purse snatching incident.

    Authorities report that shortly before midnight on Saturday, September 28, a man approached a woman waiting at a bus stop on North Hotel Street and forcibly grabbed her bag, causing her to fall to the ground.

    The suspect then fled the scene with her purse.

    The suspect is described as being between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall.

    At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black hat, a red shirt, overall pants, and a black and yellow hockey jersey.
