EDITORIAL: Subsidizing Illegals For First Time Homebuyers While Our Kids Can’t Afford A Home In Santa Clarita

Just when we thought our progressive California Legislature couldn’t invent a bill even more astonishing than having us pay for illegal immigrants to have free sex change operations and free hormonal treatment for life, they’ve raised the bar with a real doozy. Now they propose we pay for illegals to purchase their first home in California.

I’m not making this up. How could I be that creative?  According to Fox News ,  Fresno state lawmaker, “ Joaquin Arambula , a Democratic Assemblyman from California, introduced Assembly Bill 1840 earlier this year, which could create an alternative way for illegal immigrants to achieve homeownership.

The bill is set to expand eligibility criteria for a state loan program to expand these loans to include undocumented migrants (illegal aliens) that are first-time buyers.

Arambula’s update to the bill states, “an applicant under the program shall not be disqualified solely based on the applicant’s immigration status.”

So, while many of our legal Santa Clarita children can’t qualify for this first-time state-subsidized loan, illegals can go right to the front of the line. Our Golden State just added to the already crazy incentives for millions of illegals to continue pouring into our sanctuary state. Next, they’ll replace the Hollywood sign with a gigantic flashing neon insignia, “Vacancy Here.”

Along with free sex change operations, illegal immigrants (or as the Biden administration is now calling them; “newcomers”) can come to California, commit an additional crime, other than just illegally entering our country, with little or no repercussions. They get handed a free cell phone, free health care, free meals, free temporary housing, free education for their kids plus a significant monthly spending allowance which they’ll now be able to use to assist in purchasing their new home.

With our states supermajority it appears that these progressive legislators need to promote something more and more outrageous to stand out from their other loony colleagues. And we get to pay for their madness.

As I stated in a previous editorial , “ There are an estimated 1.85 million illegal immigrants in California. Our taxpayers are spending, a combined state, federal and local $182 billion dollars per year for illegals in our state, according to the Federation for American Immigration Reform. That’s $98,378.00 per illegal per year.”

Our next editorial will be announcing some bill proposing to subsidize furniture and electric (no gas) appliances for their new homes for illegals. Why not help pay for weekly gardening and house cleaning, and don’t forget the toilet paper paid for with food stamps. What next?

I’m sure some reader’s comments to this editorial will be, “How, could I be so cruel to be sarcastic about a challenging predicament for illegals? They’ll call me a MAGA racist and claim it’s all Trump’s fault.”

Wake up California. If you haven’t voted yet, please do so on Tuesday. Here’s a link for our recommendations to bring some sanity back to our state.
