Family Promise Hosts Event To Introduce New Facilities

On Wednesday, Family Promise hosted a Frame Walk event with elected officials from the County and City of Santa Clarita alongside local organizations to showcase their new building.

“I wanna thank the City of Santa Clarita because I can tell you I represent 20 other cities and it’s amazing, when you collaborate you get things done,” said L.A. County Fifth District Supervisor Kathryn Barger .

Guests heard from city and county officials, contractors and Family Promise employees and took a tour of the new facilities being built.

The new Family Promise facility is located at 23652 Newhall Avenue, according to officials.

“This is so exciting for me to be here and have this project go forward the way it is,” said City Councilmember Marsha McLean.

Family Promise began as a local response to the crisis of family homelessness in Union County, New Jersey.
