Child Airlifted After Losing Consciousness At Rosedell Elementary School In Saugus

A child was airlifted after losing consciousness at Rosedell Elementary School in Saugus Friday morning.

Around 8:20 a.m. Friday, first responders received reports of a medical emergency in the 27800 block of Urbandale Avenue in Saugus, said Kaitlyn Aldana, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department .

A child fell on the playground and lost consciousness, according to initial reports.

The child was transported by a ground ambulance to Central Park to an awaiting helicopter .

“One patient was transported via airlift to the hospital,” Aldana said.

The condition of the patient is unknown as of Friday morning.
