Officials are warning parents about vape pens that resemble regular writing tools, which have already entered schools in the Santa Clarita Valley.

The vape pens, called “Penjamin Cart Pens” are made to be used like a real pen but can also used to vape, according to officials.

At least two of these pens have been found on school campuses in the Santa Clarita Valley last week, Deputy Robert Jensen, a spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station confirmed.

“The Hart District would like to remind students that vape pens and controlled substances of any kind are prohibited on all Hart District campuses,” William S. Hart Union High School District officials said. “Vape pens or any other paraphernalia will be confiscated and appropriate discipline will be assigned.”

Neither the SCV Station nor the Hart District would confirm which campuses the vape pens were found on.

They stopped them from making them taste like candy and advertising them to kids so now they camouflage in them?!?It’s time for the government to do something again. Maybe something a little stronger this time!
