Alcohol And Drugs Dominate In Santa Clarita Weekend Arrests

Over the weekend, there was a slew of alcohol and drug-related crimes in Santa Clarita, making up nearly 66% of the total arrests.

These Santa Clarita arrests include five DUIs, a DUI that caused an injury, possession of drugs and public intoxication of both drugs and alcohol.

Besides drug and alcohol-related crimes, there were three felony arrests, one for attempted residential burglary and the others for battery and aggravated battery by a prisoner.

Seven arrests were made by deputies from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department Santa Clarita Station, while four were made by officers with the California Highway Patrol Newhall Office.
