Cooling Trend In Santa Clarita Valley Forecast

A cooling trend is expected throughout the week for the Santa Clarita Valley.

Tuesday temperatures are expected to be in the upper 90s to around 100 before things begin to slowly cool down towards the weekend, said Robbie Munroe, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service .

“Today will be the hottest of the next seven days,” Munroe said.

Beginning Wednesday, a steady cooling trend is expected through Saturday, according to officials.

By Friday, temperatures are expected to be in the low 80s, with some areas even dipping down into the high 70s, according to officials.

Although no fire or wind warnings are in effect, elevated fire conditions remain over the Santa Clarita Valley.

By next week, temperatures will warm back up into the 90s.
