    Brush Fire Reported In Canyon Country

    A brush fire broke out in Canyon Country Sunday afternoon.

    The brush fire, named the Copper Fire, was reported at about 1 p.m. Sunday near Soledad Canyon Road and Camp Plenty Road in Canyon Country, according to reports from the Los Angeles County Fire Department .

    UPDATE: (1:26 p.m.) Parts of Soledad Canyon Road have been closed in both directions to reduce traffic in the area; click here to find another route.

    Initial reports indicate that the fire was approximately one-quarter acre in size in the wash.

    No structures under threat have been reported as of 1:16 p.m. Sunday.
