On today’s show, your host Matt Watson talks with Francesca Bolivar, facilitator at the Lancaster campu, Stephanie Koshuta, facilitator at the iLead Exploration program and Michele Bowes, Director of Learning Support at iLead California.  The three women each serve iLead in different capacities.  Together, they talk about the benefits of the SCVi and iLead programs for your child. Project Based Learning or PBL is a program where your learner can work hands-on in whatever subject interests them.  They discuss the English Learning Program where learners are guided through with language proficiency as well as personalized plans, guidance, live instruction and tutoring.  SCVi and iLead is a network of free, public charter schools with campuses in Lancaster, Agua Dulce and Castaic as well as the home study program called Exploration and online learning program.  Go to ileadlancaster.org or ileadexploration.org

In the second half of the show, Matt welcomes Councilman Jason Gibbs in studio.  Elected to the role of Councilman in 2020, Gibbs talks about his continuing service to the city of Santa Clarita where he oversees growth in our housing developments, local parks and school safety programs in the Hart District.
