UPDATE: Construction Worker Killed After Being Run Over By Heavy Equipment In Newhall

Update: On Friday afternoon, a construction worker died after being run over by heavy machinery in Newhall.

Around 12:50 p.m. Friday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian on Arcadia Street in Newhall, said Maria Grycan, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“A construction worker was struck by a vehicle,” Grycan said.

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital in unknown condition, according to officials.
