    HighSpeed Chase Ends In Newhall

    A high-speed pursuit of a stolen vehicle came to an end in Newhall Wednesday morning.

    Around 10 a.m. Wednesday deputies in the Antelope Valley spotted a stolen vehicle that entered the 14 Freeway heading south, according to initial reports.

    The vehicle traveled southbound on the 14 Freeway and was located by officers with the California Highway Patrol, according to officials.

    The CHP officers attempted a traffic stop near Escondido Canyon, Road however the suspect did not stop and a pursuit was initiated.

    The pursuit continued south on the 14 Freeway reaching speeds of 130 mph, according to initial reports.

    The suspect foot bailed on the southbound 14 Freeway south of Newhall Avenue, and was quickly taken into custody by the pursuing CHP officers, according to officials.
