Trader Joe’s Holds Grand Opening Of Second Location In Santa Clarita

On Wednesday, the second location of Trader Joe’s held its grand opening in Canyon Country.

On Wednesday morning, hundreds of residents gathered for the grand opening of the new Trader Joe’s located in Golden Valley.

“I am so excited for the new Trader Joe’s. I absolutely love the quality of their eggs and the price of them,” said Taylor Clancy, a Santa Clarita resident.

The new grocery store is located at 19037 Golden Valley Road, Santa Clarita, California, 91381 in between Dollar Tree and Petsmart.

Inside the neighbourhood grocery store, customers are set to find outstanding value in the form of the best quality products at the best everyday prices, according to officials.

The store’s interior artwork is set to highlight local sites, including Lombardi Ranch, the Pacific Crest Trail, Vasquez Rocks, the Gentle Barn and Oak of the Golden Dream.

As a neighbourhood grocery store, Trader Joe’s prides itself on hiring where its store is located, added officials.

The store hired 60 new crew members from surrounding areas and transferred 24 others from neighbouring Trader Joe’s locations.

In addition, through the company’s long standing Neighbourhood Shares Program, the new Canyon Country Trader Joe’s is set to donate 100 percent of products that go unsold but remain fit to enjoy to a range of non-profit, community-based organizations, seven days a week.

The new Trader Joe’s is open Sunday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., according to officials.
