Woman in custody for allegedly assaulting security guard and Constable Deputy

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KIAH) — Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s office responded to a disturbance on October 9, 2024, in the 19100 block of Kuykendahl Road. A security guard reported being physically assaulted by a female suspect after he asked her to leave a pool area.

Upon arrival, deputies located the suspect, later identified as Alizha Salazar, who became combative and refused verbal commands. During the arrest attempt, Salazar struck one of the deputies in the eye with her phone. After a brief struggle, she was safely detained.

“Alizha Salazar was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Assault and Assault on a Peace Officer,” said Constable Mark Herman. Bond and court details are pending.
