    Houston sailor honored during Navy ceremony

    HOUSTON (KIAH) — Houston native Chief Petty Officer Cameron Michalak was honored aboard the USS Howard (DDG 83) during a Chief Petty Officer Pinning Ceremony on September 27, 2024. Michalak, serving as a Damage Controlman, received his chief cover on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer.
