I-45 HOV/HOT lane closures this weekend prompted by TxDot construction project

HOUSTON ( KIAH ) — According to the Metropolitan Transit Authority ( METRO ), the I-45 ( Gulf Freeway ) HOV/HOT lane will be closed this weekend due to a TxDOT construction project.

The lane will close after outbound traffic on Friday, October 11, and reopen for the inbound commute on Monday, October 14, at 5 a.m.
