    Suspect arrested for assault in Southeast Houston

    HOUSTON ( KIAH ) – A suspect has been arrested and charged for allegedly assaulting a man in Southeast Houston. 31-year-old Christopher Williams is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

    Houston Police were called to Garden Oaks Apartments in the 5600 block of Royal Palms Street on October 6th after hearing reports of two men getting into a fight. When officers arrived, they found both men with stab wounds, with one of them receiving burns on his head. They were both taken to the hospital in stable condition.

    Witnesses told police that the younger male, identified as Williams, started the fight with the victim. He was later arrested and is now in Harris County jail .
