HOUSTON ( KIAH ) — Even though the early morning weather will stay cool and crisp, highs for southeast Texas will stay in the low-90s as the warmer temperatures will stick around through the weekend and early next week.

Saturday morning started with some fog around the area, with visibility down to .25 of a mile. But the fog was burned out by 8 a.m., and the sunny weather took over.

For Saturday and Sunday, it will be warm and mostly sunny with highs ranging around the low 80s to the mid-90s. The winds will be mostly south at 10 to 20 miles per hour. At night, the lows will be around the mid-60s to the mid-70s.

Looking into Monday, the weather will stay sunny and hot in the afternoons and a bit cooler in the evenings. Tuesday will see a dry cold front come through, bringing slightly cooler temperatures in the evening.

If you’re looking for rainfall in the area, you might have to wait a while. A high pressure is keeping the rain clouds away from southeast Texas for at least through early Thursday, but its only around a 20-to-40% chance of actual rain.
