    Man arrested after high-speed chase from League City to north Houston

    HOUSTON ( KIAH ) — A high-speed chase around north Houston ended in a crash Wednesday afternoon.

    The driver weaving in and out of traffic around West Little York, driving erratically.

    The suspect was finally placed into custody at an apartment complex near White Oak Circle near Windfern.

    The chase started far away, at the Cracker Barrel restaurant in League City.

    Police said the suspect took off after police requested a K-9 to search for drugs.
