Houston Humane Society offers October adoption specials

HOUSTON (KIAH) — The Houston Humane Society will be kicking off its national campaign this month for ‘Subaru Loves Pets’ month for its second year in a row. Pet adoptions will be available at a reduced fee for $25.

There will also be a hosted special adoption event at Gillman Subaru North on October 19 that will feature different pets available to be adopted into new homes. The company will be donating $6,000 to the Houston Humane Society to assist with these efforts and to ensure that pets find loving homes and help the Houston Humane Society provide the best care to every animal in the shelter.

The Houston Humane Society will celebrate the sixth annual ‘National Make a Dog’s Day’ on October 22 to help make dogs feel loved. Potential adopters can welcome older dogs, physically challenged and last-to-be-chosen dogs into their homes as a way to #MakeADogsDay.
