All over North Carolina: Saturday, June 1st, 2024 You know we love these Home Depot Kids Workshops. They're totally free with all the materials. Father's Day is coming up, so bring the kids and let them make this little grill gift card box. Keep it free, you don't need to put a gift card in it. Let the kids draw him a picture and put it inside the box. We know Dad will love it. These free events happen at Home Depot stores all across the state. 3. International Children's Day at The City Of Raleigh Museum
Raleigh, NC: June 1st, 2024 10 am to 3:30 pm Stories for children, and children at heart that will include puppetry, theatrics, and lots of bilingual stories. This one is totally free and part of the larger International Food Festival. Get all the details on International Children's Day.
4. Summer Reading Kick-Off
All over North Carolina: All Weekend and beyond Libraries across the state are kicking off their summer reading programs with fun events. We've seen concerts, puppet shows, wildlife encounters, parties, and more. Check out what's happening for the kids at your local library this weekend. AND, definitely register for summer reading programs. These FREE programs reward kids with different prizes like baseball game tickets, dessert coupons, new books, and lots of other cool stuffy. Sign up for your local library's summer reading programs this weekend! Get them reading AND having fun for FREE.

5. Village Park Concert
Kannapolis, NC: Saturday, June 1st, 2024 at 7 pm We love Village Park in Kannapolis for its fun playgrounds, pretty walking paths, and of course the carousel. But, we do love free music, too. 6. Hike the Fairy Trail
Hendersonville, NC: Opens Saturday June 1st, 2024 This free outdoor activity runs all summer long Monday through Saturday at Bullington Gardens in Hendersonville. Walk the fairy trail, find all the fairy homes and gardens.
