    1,000 American flags honor fallen veterans at annual Field of Honor

    IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI)—Thousands of veterans who lost their lives are being honored this weekend in Idaho Falls.

    The Idaho Falls Exchange Club set up a memorial called the 'Field of Honor' in Freeman Park.

    Volunteers posted 1,000 American flags for the annual display. The flags have been set up every Memorial Day weekend since 2012.

    The flags will be up through Monday afternoon.

    There will be speakers, music and honorable salutes. You can view the schedule below.
