Pocatello Police looking for a person of interest involved in early morning shooting

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI)—Pocatello Police are looking for a person of interest involved in a Wednesday morning shooting that left one man wounded on the Pocatello West Bench.

Police are looking for Lauran Cain Sittre, 42. He is a person of interest in the shooting that occurred around 3:54 a.m.

The wounded man was taken to Portneuf Medical Center.

Police said they are acquaintances, and the investigation is ongoing.

Wednesday afternoon, Police called in the SWAT team and surrounded a home in Belaire Estates Mobile Home Park. Neighbors said police believed the suspected man was in the home. Over an hour later, police determined the man was not inside the home and left.

No other information was given by the police.
