Steelers' Omar Khan 'Has Been Frugal' But Needs To Extend Pat Freiermuth Immediately
The Pittsburgh Steelers front office and General Manager Omar Khan should be fairly active during training camp when it comes to contract talks with some of their players. Cam Heyward, Pat Freiermuth, and Najee Harris are all heading into the final year of their respective contracts, and it would benefit Pittsburgh to lock up some of them past the 2024 season. Freiermuth is especially seen as a priority, as the tight end position is a strong focal point in Arthur Smith's offense. Freiermuth has had a somewhat inconsistent career so far in Pittsburgh. He has struggled with injuries, but has also been very productive for...

Steelers Announce Exciting Hall Of Honor Class For 2024
The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced the inductees of the team's Hall of Honor in 2024. It's one of the most prestigious privileges as a member of the black and gold. After the 2023 induction, there are only 53 members. Those inducted are required to have made significant contributions to the organization, as well as the community, while exemplifying what it means to be a Steeler. The Hall of Honor began recently back in 2017, which is surprising considering the history of the organization. The size of the classes each year have varied in order to honor the players from long ago, but...
Steelers Great Maurkice Pouncey Put Ben Roethlisberger In An Uncomfortable Situation During A Preseason Game
The Pittsburgh Steelers have had a ton of legends play along their offensive line over the years, one of which being the fan-favorite Maurkice Pouncey. Pouncey earned the love of the fan base by protecting his teammates, and being a chippy and gritty lineman. He was a mainstay in Pittsburgh, as he was the team's starting center for 11 seasons. He was the defender of Steelers quarterbacks, risking a fine to protect Ben Roethlisberger (and Mason Rudolph) on multiple occasions. Pouncey and Roethlisberger had a great relationship, as most quarterbacks and centers do. They were especially close, and it's safe to say they'd...

Gonzales and Priester Struggle as Pirates Fall 9-5 to Arizona
The Pirates lost 9-5 to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday, dropping the game and the series against one of their closest competitors in the National League Wild Card race. Marco Gonzales only managed to complete 2.1 innings, allowing two homers and four runs. The Pirates’ (52-52) offense managed to overcome the early deficit, but continued struggles from their bullpen proved too much to handle in the ugly loss. Oneil Cruz kicked off the scoring with a towering first inning homer, obliterating a first pitch fastball 472 feet to right-center. Arizona immediately answered back thanks to an RBI single from Christian Walker, then...
