Arizona took a 2-1 lead into the ninth inning, only to see it fall apart. Pinch hitter Rowdy Tellez led off the ninth inning with a double against Paul Sewald. Martinez then hit Alika Williams with a pitch to score another run and Ke'Bryan Hayes made it 6-2 with a two-run bloop single.
T.J. Watt Intends On Helping Rookie OT Troy Fautanu, But Not Before Figuring Him Out
The Pittsburgh Steelers hopefully completed their offensive line overhaul when they spent three of their top five picks on the group in the 2024 NFL Draft. Given the high investments, OT Troy Fautanu and C Zach Frazier will likely be counted on to start as early as Week 1. Growing pains can be expected, as they are with any rookie, but Fautanu in particular will have the benefit of practicing against the best edge rusher in the NFL every day.
2024 Stock Watch – CB Beanie Bishop Jr.
Player: CB Beanie Bishop Jr. Reasoning: A rookie college free agent, Beanie Bishop Jr. is taking the lion’s share of first-team slot reps. While he has had his ups and downs, he has generally held his own. The Steelers are trying to get a long early look at him to audition for the starting slot defender role. They need somebody to fill in for at least the first eight games due to Cameron Sutton’s suspension.

Troy Fautanu makes statement with wins over T.J. Watt at Steelers training camp
Latrobe, Pa. -- If any rookie wants to make a statement in Pittsburgh Steelers training camp, making some noise against T.J. Watt is a sure way to do it. Watt wrecks practices as frequently as he destroys games. Multiple times each year, Mike Tomlin has to specifically plead for someone to take Watt’s impact out of team drills because he will cause so much chaos.
Steelers' Patrick Queen Is Not Scared Of Anyone On Pittsburgh's Offense
The Pittsburgh Steelers have a weird look in Latrobe ahead of the 2024 season. There are many new faces after the Steelers completed one of their most active offseasons in recent memory. The quarterback room looks completely different as no one at the position was in Pittsburgh in 2023. There is also a new star on the defense at linebacker: Patrick Queen. Queen flipped sides on one of the most intense rivalries in the NFL in 2024, leaving the Baltimore Ravens in free agency. Queen broke out in 2023 and was named an All-Pro, and now he will wear the green dot in...
