JEFFERSON COUNTY, OH — Toronto is hosting the Louann Burchfield/Kathy Hannan Hale Colors of Cancer Memorial 5K on Saturday, August 10th. Registration starts at 8 AM, and the race begins at 9 AM. This 5K event honors two mothers who both battled cancer. Their daughters initiated a Sunshine Charity, through which they have donated over $3,000 to two families with loved ones battling cancer and $1,000 to the Tony Taramana Cancer Center.

Clouds will increase on Monday with the chance of some stray showers after lunch. Rain will be very spotty through the day. A better chance of scattered showers on Tuesday with daily shower chances through Thursday. No one day is a washout, and no one time looks wetter than the other, but rain will be around each day. We look to dry out in time for Friday Night Lights with the Steelers and stay hot heading into the first weekend of August.
