EDENTON – The Town of Edenton and the Edenton Police Department are pleased to announce that Mr. George Robinson has been named Interim Police Chief, effective Aug. 1, 2024. A man died Sunday afternoon after falling into a pumping station at a water treatment plant in Rocky Mount.
