Ray Township voters to select candidates, decide on fire station proposal
Ray Township residents will weigh in on the need for a new fire station during the Aug. 6 primary, as well vote in contested races for supervisor and trustee. The bond proposal asks voters if Ray Township shall borrow a sum not to exceed $5.5 million and issue unlimited tax general obligation bonds in one or more series. These would be payable within 21 years from the date of issue.
Chesterfield Twp. police looking for suicidal teen who ran from them
Chesterfield Township police spent much of Monday searching the community as they look for a missing juvenile who may be suicidal. Investigators say Christopher Nanovski, 15, last seen in the area of 23 Mile Road and DW Seaton Drive. The teen was described as being “out of control,” according to a 911 caller.
