    as an outsider.. living in the area.. it seems that the company is mostly the problem when it comes to being at the bargaining table and being fair. I live in an area where many boeing managers or maybe they are executives live. if you actually looked at how they seem to live. they seem to be living well beyond the means of most folks in the area. And living in the area you hear about how much their bonuses are and pay. which seems extreme for a company that complains about their financial strains. if they were strained. you would think they would lead by example and take a very huge pay and bonus cut until the company was healthy again. also if they were suffering, you think the shareholders would force the executives and managers to live humbly for a while.
