Something exciting is coming for fans of Netflix shows. The video streaming giant has announced plans for two entertainment venues, called Netflix House, at shopping centers in Dallas and King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. the company said, and we can't wait to check these out!

    When Will This Happen?

Netflix said the venues would open in 2025 and they will offer screenings of Netflix shows as well as food service and merchandise.

“At Netflix House, you can enjoy regularly updated immersive experiences, indulge in retail therapy, and get a taste — literally — of your favorite Netflix series and films through unique food and drink offerings,” said Marian Lee, Netflix’s chief marketing officer, in a statement.

“We’ve launched more than 50 experiences in 25 cities, and Netflix House represents the next generation of our distinctive offerings,” Lee said. “The venues will bring our beloved stories to life in new, ever-changing, and unexpected ways.”

Netflix House is currently under construction at both sites and it will build on prior Netflix live experiences for titles like “Bridgerton,” “Money Heist,” “Stranger Things,” “Squid Game,” and Netflix Bites.

The Dallas Galleria location is under construction on two floors at the northwest side of that shopping center, officials said, and it is expected to open in fall 2025.

“Welcoming Netflix House to Galleria Dallas allows the center to sit at the forefront of the experiential economy, which is such a key aspect of retail today,” said Angie Freed, Galleria Dallas general manager, in a statement. “We’re focused on giving our guests the best possible experience as they shop, dine and spend time with friends and family.”

    Other Netflix Food Experiences

Netflix Bites was a pop-up culinary space that featured the platform’s chefs in 2023.

The pop-up featured a tasting menu with such chefs as Curtis Stone (“Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend”), Dominique Crenn (“Chef’s Table,” and “Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend”), Rodney Scott (“Chef’s Table: BBQ)”, Ming Tsai (“Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend”), Ann Kim (“Chef's Table: Pizza”), Nadiya Hussain (“Nadiya Bakes”), Jacques Torres (“Nailed It!”), and Andrew Zimmern (“Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend”).

Mixologists from Netflix’s “Drink Masters” crafted custom cocktails for the drink menu.

Representatives cited Netflix Bites as a pattern for the menu at the permanent Netflix House food service offerings, but they have not given details about it.

We can't wait to see what they will do with these venues, and we already have a suspicion that the food will be out-of-this-world amazing.

Who doesn't want a dinner and movie date all in one location? This was a genius idea!
