GUTHRIE, Okla. — On Wednesday, KOCO 5 brought out On the Road Tour to the city of Guthrie as we celebrate our 70th anniversary. The KOCO 5 Team got to experience a bunch of cool things Guthrie has to offer, including Twin Cedars, the Scottish Rite Temple and even Rick's Fine Chocolates. DALLAS – Oklahoma safety Billy Bowman Jr. has become a leader for the Oklahoma program. Last season, Bowman Jr. made many big plays for the Sooners. To his six interceptions, the three of them he returned for touchdowns, and his ability to keep Texas receiver Xavier Worthy out of the endzone to secure the Sooner's spectacular goal-line stop. He was named to the All-Big 12 first team, named an All-American, and likely would have been a 2024 NFL Draft pick had he not opted to return to OU for one more season.
