Fatal crash closes I-80 for several hours Wednesday night
A fatal crash occurred Wednesday night on Interstate 80 in west Reno, Nevada State Police said. About 10:54 p.m., the state police received a report of a crash in the westbound lanes near Robb Drive on I-80. I-80 westbound was closed for several hours while police investigated the crash. Police opened one lane about 1:45 a.m., with all lanes reopening after 6 a.m. No further information has been released. SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Board approved the election for three open seats on the Lake Tahoe Unified School District Board of Education during the June 27 meeting. The seats are currently held by Bonnie Turnbull (Area 3), Valerie Mansfield (Area 4), and Larry Reilly (Area 1). The election will be held on November 5, 2024.
