    Man’s home destroyed after brush fire near Kingsburg

    KINGSBURG, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A man’s home on the outskirts of Kingsburg caught fire and burnt down Friday afternoon after a nearby brush fire ignited the property, the Fresno County Fire Department says.

    According to Fresno County Fire, crews responded to the debris fire at 465 6th Ave. around 1 p.m. The fire grew to an acre before spreading to a mobile home trailer on the property.

    Crews say the trailer was quickly destroyed by fire. The homeowner lived alone and was not injured.

    Fresno County Fire says the blaze was contained with the help of Kingsburg, Selma, and Kings County fire departments.
