Ohio Woman Arrested on Possession Charges
A Plain City, Ohio woman was arrested Monday, July 15 after a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of U.S. 30 near Elm Road. The deputy spotted a blue passenger car traveling east at a very high rate of speed which led to the traffic stop. The vehicle was checked at 103 mph.

Valparaiso Police Hiring for Part-Time Crossing Guards
The Valparaiso Police Department is accepting interest for part-time crossing guard positions, with several openings currently available. The part-time position could lead to a full-time assignment if so desired, and when available. The assignment is to assist students in crossing streets at designated intersections throughout the City of Valparaiso and will require morning and afternoon availability. The current openings will assist in covering crossings on an as needed basis.
